Goal 4: Content Area Competence
MATH
Lakeland Elementary School will increase the percentage of ALL scholars scoring proficient or advanced on the state math assessment (Smarter Balance Assessment) from 36% to 50%, scholars identifying as multilingual learners will increase their SBA Math scores from 24% to 50%, aligning with the district’s focus on improving math outcomes by the end of the 2025 2026 academic
year. Through progress monitoring iReady math diagnostic, our multi lingual proficiency levels will go from 51% to 75%. For all scholars, our proficiency levels will go from 56% to 80%.
READING
Lakeland Elementary School will increase the percentage of ALL scholars scoring proficient or advanced on the state reading assessment (Smarter Balance Assessment) from 39% to 60%, scholars identifying as multilingual learners from 26% to 50%, aligning with the district’s focus on improving literacy outcomes by the end of the 2025 2026 academic year. Through progress
monitoring iReady reading diagnostic, our multi lingual proficiency levels will go from 48% to 75%. For all scholars, our proficiency levels will go from 63% to 80%
