Join us at the final Family Academy event of the school year, Bridging the Gap: Supporting Students Through Change, on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 6-7:30 pm at Lake Grove Elementary or through Zoom.
In the final Family Academy event of the year, families will learn how to confidently support smooth school year transitions.

Dinner, childcare for children 5 and older, and interpreter services are available for those who attend in person. Plus, families who pre-register to attend in person will be entered into a drawing to ⭐ win one free week of childcare ⭐ for one elementary-aged child. Families must be present to win.
This event will benefit families with children in any grade. Through essential conversations and authentic partnership, we can increase scholar success.

Wild Waves Theme & Water Park Parking Lot
Put your imagination in gear! Federal Way Public Schools is excited to join the City of Federal Way for the return of Touch-A-Truck!
This free, hands-on family event allows scholars of all ages to get up close and personal with the vehicles that build, serve, and protect our community. From big rigs and tractors to police cars and service vehicles, children can honk, toot, and climb aboard their favorite sets of wheels.
Be sure to stop by the Federal Way Public Schools booth to say hello, engage in fun activities, and learn more about what’s happening in our district. Whether it’s rain or shine, we can't wait to see our FWPS families out in the community for this day of exploration and fun!
